India Restaurant in Giessen

A very good Indian restaurant and I've been to very, very many in different countries. Very nice owners and waitresses, you feel welcome and very friendly! Picking up during Corona times is also recommended, even if I miss the atmosphere in the restaurant!

Great food, super friendly staff, the best India restaurant in the district. No. 22 - I can only recommend butter chicken to everyone. When visiting, I can only recommend that you make a reservation. The restaurant is always very busy!

It's just a great restaurant with very, very friendly staff and the best Indian food in the area. The butter chicken is especially recommended. Should you support in Corona times. I love the shop

The food is delicious and prepared quickly, and the service was very friendly. We didn't have any dishes advertised as spicy, but they still had a little more spice contracts. But we'd love to come back.

Since I've been in Mumbai, I haven't eaten as authentic Indian food as I do in Gießen today. The chicken was juicy, spicy and served with sensational naan bread from the traditional Indian oven. My wife's vegetarian dish was phenomenal too, and there was something for our kids too. The service was very friendly and the price / performance ratio perfect. We will be back definitely!

Were there for the first time. It was simply delicious and the service was extremely friendly and courteous.

Well its a hit or miss with the food here some food is really really good and some food well you get the picture. The biggest problem here is the price. It is way way over priced. I went there with my girl friend we both ordered a dish, naan bread, and a drink and paid almost 40€. The amount of food that came for the price was laughable a little bowl of rice and a small bowl of the dish I ordered which was butter chicken. Service was friendly but very slow. I will not be going back.

First time in an Indian restaurant, I loved it. The place is quiet and pleasant, the service was perfect and the food very good even if most of the dishes were much too spicy for me.

This is my go to Indian restaurant in town! The quality and taste is always on point no matter if it's dine-in or takeout. Service and staff are very warm and inviting. I'd definitely recommend getting the mango lassi!

Good choice for Indian food in Giessen. Fresh and amazing. NOTE: but the price is little bit expensive 2 main dishes + 2 normal drink with samosa cost 39 €. I wrote this note for helping the student who have a low budget.

Food is delicious

Excellent & Authentic Indian food. Friendly staff with great vibe. Feels like home! The Butter chicken was mouth watering and so was the Biryani! Easily me n my friend's go-to-place in Gießen. Would highly recommend Indian Restaurant to anyone and everyone!!

Exalent best Indian in Germany

Very poor service.My stomach was upset because of the stale food served there. Food taste is okayish, better food available else where. Being an Indian I can definitely say that the taste is not authentic.

I as an Indian can say, the Best Indian food I've eaten so far. Extremely friendly staff, big portions, a large variety of meals and all of that for a good, normal price. And not only the food, the Mango Lassi was also very good. Can absolutely recommend. Will come back very soon.

As an Indian I would say the food are normally tasty but unfortunately all items be it veg or non-veg, taste the same. May be using same gravy paste for all the items. And mango lassi was big disappointment as it taste like buttermilk from the local supermarket. Ideally, it is supposed to be thick and sweet.

Most of the food is nice, but the service was horrendous today. We had been here a few times before and it was never super quick, but today it took over 2 hours to get the food, and the naan bread arrived even later so that we had almost finished the dishes. They said one of the chefs was sick, but didn't tell us that before we ordered (so that we could have gone somewhere else) nor offered anything to apologise (like a free drink while waiting). They even let us wait for the bill and didn't seem to care. Very disappointed!

I have known this place for over 5yrs, and it's impressive that the quality and taste (best spices) hasn't changed one bit. I recommend this to anyone interested in tasting authentic Indian dishes. Traditional atmosphere along with friendly staff makes you feel very comfortable. I have tasted everything in the Menu and my favorite is Karahi Ghosht and Lamb Madras(spicy) with a butter naan.
